We chose Telegram because it offers features that make it better than many other messaging apps. For one, it supports much larger group chats—up to 200,000 members—so we won’t be limited by size. Telegram also lets us pin important messages, create polls, and organize conversations with topics and threads, which help keep things clear and easy to follow. Unlike other apps, Telegram works seamlessly across multiple devices, so you can stay connected wherever you are.
Another reason is privacy—Telegram offers end-to-end encryption for private chats, giving us more security than most platforms. Plus, it’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t take up much space on your phone. These features make Telegram the best choice for our club’s needs, helping everyone stay informed and engaged.
You can download Telegram for free from the following platforms:
Mobile Devices:
iPhone/iPad: Download from the App Store.

Desktop:
Go to the official Telegram website (telegram.org) and download the desktop version for Windows, Linux and/or macOS.
Telegram is also available as a web app, which you can access directly through your browser without downloading anything.
