Emergence, by Kate Vass Galerie, Sept 8th - December 8th
If you haven’t yet, we recommend checking out the exhibition Emergence, curated by Kate Vass. Bringing together Casey Reas, Jonathan McCabe, David Young, Jared S. Tarbell, Alex Mordvintsev, Memo Akten, Sasha Stiles, Zeroichi Arakawa, and Alexander Reben, the exhibition asks: Can emergence become conscious?
The show unfolds across four chapters - Cell, Pattern, Organism, and Society - tracing how simple rules can give rise to increasingly complex forms of organisation, from computation to culture.

What is the last piece of land on the internet? In The Last Acres of the Internet, presented by Neort, exonemo transforms meaningless 63-character domain names — the maximum length allowed by the domain standard — into plots of digital real estate. Visitors can explore these “acres” from above in Fly mode or walk through landscapes built from the world’s different writing systems.
Three acres are now being offered through a secret auction, starting at $24, a reference to the legendary price paid for Manhattan in 1626. The winning bidder receives the actual domain name and HTML page, rather than an NFT representing them.Auction closes September 26 at 19:00 JST.
POLYGON1993 — Koi No Yokan
A series of 169 procedural animated artworks exploring the influence of Japanese popular culture on a generation raised in the West. Drawing from manga, anime, video games, and late ’90s/early 2000s digital aesthetics, the series explores memory and cultural transmission through the concept of Gyakuyunyuu (逆輸入), or “reimportation.”

At 100 collectors, we have just launched 101, our new two-month entry point into digital art collecting. We created it for that moment between “I’m interested” and “I’m a collector”: for people who are curious about digital art but don’t quite know where to start.
What exactly is digital art? What am I actually collecting? Can you really own it? How do I know if it’s good? Over two months, a small cohort of 20 people will explore these questions together by looking at art, meeting artists, asking questions, gaining context, and experiencing the digital art ecosystem from the inside.
Our ambition is simple: to give new people the knowledge, access, and confidence to begin their own collecting journey.

On the occasion of READY TO DIE, the upcoming solo exhibition by Auriea Harvey at Heft Gallery in New York, 100 collectors members have pre-access to the Amulets, ahead of the public opening.
The Amulets are a limited series of 30 unique, hand-finished sculptures in marble, ceramic, and pewter, each paired with a digital counterpart - a spatial Gaussian-splat portrait recorded on Ethereum.
Price: $1,000–$5,000
Collecting an Amulet also grants access to The Feast of Treasures on September 8, an intimate private ceremony on the eve of the exhibition opening. For one night, the gallery will be transformed into a burial chamber, where artworks become offerings and all the Amulets will gather before leaving the artist’s world.
Auriea will personally name each work as it is entrusted to its new Bearer, during an intimate evening including a feast, ceremonial procession, musical performance, and more. As Bearers, collectors become custodians of both the physical Amulet and its digital double, and receive special benefits when collecting additional works from the exhibition.

On the occasion of The Crimson Hour, the upcoming solo exhibition by Genesis Kai presented by ArtVerse Gallery at Acel Art Company in Seoul, 100 collectors members have pre-access to the works, ahead of the exhibition opening.
The exhibition brings together works from Kai’s previous series The Tension That Holds alongside never-before-seen works from her new series, In the Name of What Remains.
At the center of the exhibition is “Pothosophy”, Kai’s philosophy of desire as a generative force capable of producing connection, care, intimacy, knowledge, and transformation. Drawing from Song Dynasty landscape painting and Korean chaekgado traditions, the works move through translucent crimson landscapes, bodies, vessels, fragments, and “heirlooms of desire.”
The Crimson Hour opens at Acel Art Company in Gangnam, Seoul, on August 29 and runs through October 2, 2026.
The opening on August 29, 5–8 PM will also feature an artist talk between Genesis Kai, Lev Manovich, and curator Valentina Buzzi.

AYMARA, a solo exhibition by Bolivian artist Cristian Laime, explores the culture and identity of the Aymara people, the Indigenous community to which the artist belongs.
Through richly layered oil paintings, Laime draws from his ancestry, family, and the traditions of the Bolivian Altiplano, creating a lyrical world where Aymara dress, symbolism, memory, and contemporary identity meet.
Central to the works is the figure of Laime’s mother, who has become one of his principal models and will join the artist at the opening.

MOUTH presents a new sculpture by Sarah Friend, transforming the hidden physical infrastructure of the digital world into a dense, bodily form.
Made from internet cables, patch panels, aluminium, and hundreds of zip ties, the sculpture repurposes materials once used to transmit information. Hand-bent, braided, and woven using techniques closer to textile-making than industrial assembly, cables become veins, muscles, and intestines, while zip ties evoke teeth, hair, or spines.
The work connects digital infrastructure with ancient traditions of weaving, from the programmable Jacquard loom to the hand-woven memory modules of the Apollo Guidance Computer.
At a moment increasingly shaped by AI and invisible networks, MOUTH makes their physical reality visible again: behind every digital system are materials, labor, and the human hand.
