Dearest art friends,
Who gets to be a collector? We've been asking ourselves that question for a while. At fairs, openings and studio visits, we kept hearing some version of the same thing: "I love this, but I wouldn't know where to start."
So we built somewhere to start. 100 + 1 = 101 is a two-month guided entry into digital art: 20 people, real conversations with artists, one IRL moment connected to the fall calendar, and no previous knowledge required. Pauline tells the story behind it in this month's article below.
