Biography

FEWOCiOUS, whose legal name is Victor Langlois, is an American digital artist, painter, and sculptor born on January 1, 2003, who began creating art at just 13 years old in her hometown of Las Vegas. Coming from a family of Salvadoran immigrants, FEWOCiOUS turned to digital art as a refuge and form of self-expression while navigating a difficult adolescence and her own gender transition as a young transgender woman. Her raw, emotionally charged, and autobiographical style, often rendered in bold color and expressive line work, quickly resonated with a wide audience once she began releasing work through NFT platforms. In 2021, at just 18 years old, FEWOCiOUS became one of the youngest artists ever to sell work through Christie's, helping usher in a wave of mainstream attention toward NFT art and toward young, queer, and previously overlooked digital artists. Her sales, including major NFT collections and record-breaking auction results, established her as one of the defining figures of the 2021 NFT boom.
