Biography

Lorenzo Masnah, known professionally as Loro Masnah, is a Bogotá-born street artist based in New York whose practice bridges public muralism with digital and blockchain-based art. He began developing an archive-driven practice around 2012, working with newspapers, historical photographs, and collage to create murals addressing human rights violations and national tragedies. Early in his career he co-founded the Animal Planet Collective in Bogotá alongside artist Stinkfish, contributing to a wave of Colombian street art that gained international recognition. Masnah's practice later expanded to incorporate emerging web3 technology, most notably through Noosphere Tribe, a generative collection of works distributed on the Ethereum blockchain that explores algorithmic systems and decentralized networks. He became widely known for a striking series titled 'Another Flex on the Wall,' in which he hand-painted large-scale physical replicas of prominent, community-owned NFT artworks directly onto brick building walls in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, translating digital collectibles into public, physical form. His murals and public interventions have appeared across New York, Bogotá, Barcelona, and other cities, continuing a long-standing commitment to working in open, accessible public space. Masnah remains active in both the street art and NFT communities, and continues to take on commissions and public projects internationally.
