Artist Directory

Italian artist working at the intersection of graphic design, generative processes, and blockchain — a pioneer of the early crypto art movement.
Mattia Cuttini is an Italian artist born in Udine in 1979. He spent a decade working in electronics and telecommunications before retraining as a graphic designer, later folding that technical background into a visual practice built on layering, repetition, and the tension between analog and digital processes. Music and performance have run alongside his visual work since the start. He entered the NFT space in 2018, tokenizing his first pieces on SuperRare and KnownOrigin, and has since shown work across SuperRare, Async Art, Objkt, and other platforms. In 2020 he joined an AI-focused residency on Playform, feeding archival Xerox-based works into generative tools to produce a body of pieces he describes as mandala-like. In November 2023 he presented a career-spanning solo exhibition at NFT Factory in Paris.
