Biography
Andrea Orejarena and Caleb Stein are an artist duo whose work has been shown in Europe, the United States and Asia. They make mixed media collage and photographic work, with series including Long Time No See (2019) and American Glitch (2021), and works such as Synthetic Street and Cherry Blossom Camouflage (2023). Exhibition titles such as Viral Hallucinations and Tactics and Mythologies point to an interest in image culture and disinformation. Solo exhibitions include Tactics and Mythologies at Photoforum Pasquart in Biel (2025), Viral Hallucinations #1 at Haus der Photographie, Deichtorhallen Hamburg (2024 to 2025), American Glitch at Palo Gallery in New York (2024) and Down by the Hudson at Rose Gallery in Santa Monica (2022). Group exhibitions include Foam Talent 2024 and Swiss Photomonth 2025, and Artificial Intelligence: Disinformation in a Post Truth World at the Griffin Museum of Photography (2024). Their work is shown with Palo Gallery in New York, and they are listed in the Digital Sector at Paris Photo 2026.
