Rhea Myers is an artist, hacker, and writer originally from the United Kingdom who now lives and works in British Columbia, Canada. She studied at Canterbury College of Art and later at Middlesex University's Centre for Electronic Art in the 1990s, an education that grounded her practice in both computational thinking and critical theory. Since 2013, Myers has been a pioneering voice in blockchain art, producing sculptural, conceptual, and text-based works that treat the blockchain itself as raw material for artistic and philosophical inquiry rather than merely a means of provenance or sale.
