Rik Oostenbroek

Biography

Rik Oostenbroek is a self-taught Dutch digital artist and designer who has been creating both digital and analog work since 2006. Known for his bold, saturated use of color and inventive approach to abstraction, Oostenbroek builds compositions that combine fluid, organic forms with sharp, futuristic elements, often blurring the line between illustration, portraiture, and pure abstract design. Working primarily as a freelance artist and art director, he has spent more than sixteen years developing a distinctive visual language centered on composition, color theory, and a constant sense of motion within static images. His commercial and creative work has been used by major global brands, including Apple, AT&T, Mercedes-Benz, and Adobe, reflecting the crossover appeal of his style between fine art, illustration, and commercial design.
