XCOPY is a pseudonymous, London-based digital artist widely regarded as one of the pioneering figures of crypto art and the NFT movement. His true identity remains unknown, and he has spent over a decade cultivating a distinctive visual language built from glitching, looping animations rendered in high-contrast, acid-toned palettes of black, red, and green. XCOPY's imagery frequently features skulls, screaming faces, and dystopian figures that channel anxiety around mortality, surveillance, capitalism, and the volatility of financial markets, including the crypto economy that made his own career possible.
