Fanny Lakoubay

Fanny Lakoubay is a French-born art advisor with over 15 years of experience at major New York City art institutions, including The Frick Collection, Artnet, Sotheby's Institute, and Christie's auction house. Since 2018, she has specialized in contemporary art with a focus on digital mediums—video, AI, blockchain, and software—guiding collectors, artists, museums, and platforms through this emerging landscape.

Throughout her career, she has contributed to numerous prominent Web3 and digital art initiatives. She has played pivotal roles in projects such as CADAF (The Crypto and Digital Art Fair), Editional (a mobile-first NFT platform founded in 2018), Snark.art, Green NFT, The Blockchain Art Directory, and The Rare Art Festival. She also headed communications for RadicalxChange Foundation, a civic tech think tank with Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, as a board member. Additionally, she has been involved with NFT Paris and the NFT Factory.

She co-founded the 100 collectors club, a global curated community for contemporary and digital art collectors. She previously co-chaired WAC LAB, an educational program supporting cultural institutions as they explore digital art and Web3, which worked with over 50 established institutions including the Orsay Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, The Royal College of Art, and HEK - House of Electronic Arts.

She also currently advises the artistic duo Operator, serves on several advisory boards including The Superrare RareDAO Council, and contributes to art publications such as Right Click Save, NFT Evening, and Le Quotidien de l'Art.
