Inna Modja is a Malian-French Visual Artist & Musician. Her Photography and video installations are inspired by the work of her mentor Malick Sidibé, and West African Photographers of the 60’s. Growing up in Bamako, she was fascinated by the natural elegance of people in the streets, which she loves to capture in sophisticated compositions, adding a social empowerment message to it.She also co-founded Code Green, a non-profit harnessing the power of art and technology, to support social & climate justice. With her team, they’re exploring the potentials of blockchain, helping a growing community of artists and communities harness the power of technology to help heal the Earth and fight for radical green justice.Inna Modja collects art because it allows her to engage with reflections of our contemporary society, challenging the status quo and fostering social evolution.
