‍
Artist and poet Ana MarĂa Caballero will appear at the Museum for a performative presentation of works from her new and seventh book, Material (2026), recipient of the Trio House Press Editor’s Selection in Poetry Prize. Â
Recognized as a leading force in contemporary transmedia poetics, Caballero expands the ways verse is experienced and exhibited in a rapidly evolving technological age. She incorporates performance, artificial intelligence, code, collage, and choreography in her practice. “Material and Materiality” will bring together readings of key poetic oeuvres from Caballero’s Material, concurrently with multimodal presentations of these poems, exemplifying the ways language can be expanded in the digital age. Â
