Cem Hasimi, who works online as cemhah, is a digital artist originally from Turkey who is now based in London. That background in commercial storytelling and design later fed into a distinct personal art practice centered on identity, transformation, and emotional states, often rendered through looping animation and glitch-inflected digital portraiture. Describing his own work as being made of 'bone, spit, muscle and artery and a little bit of loop animation,' Hasimi explores how people shift moment to moment, whether through conversation, memory, loss, or joy, translating these psychological transitions into unsettling, hypnotic moving images.
